Lee County Superintendent files lawsuit

Lee County Superintendent Mike Scott filed a lawsuit today against Jamie Franks and Eric Hampton both individually and in their official capacity.

The lawsuit claims extortion, malicious interference with employment, defamation and negligence.

Franks is the chairman of the Mississippi Democratic Party and Hampton is chairman of the Lee County Democratic Executive Committee.
